This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones veltronjk.com uses and how you can manage them. It applies together with the Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. They can be first-party (managed by Veltronjk) or third-party (managed by providers such as Google). We also use equivalent technologies such as browser local storage.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary: allow the site to load, remember your cookie choice and keep it secure. Functional: remember preferences such as language. Analytics: help us understand how the site is used in aggregate. Advertising: allow campaign measurement and relevant ads through Google Ads.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2. By default, the signals ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are set to denied. Only when you accept analytics or advertising cookies do we send the granted signal to Google, and only then do the corresponding features activate. We also have ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough enabled.
4. Duration
Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when the browser closes) or persistent (kept up to twelve months or until you delete them). Your consent preference is stored for up to six months, after which we ask again.
5. How to manage your preferences
You can accept, reject or adjust each category from the initial banner or reopen the preferences panel from the footer. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
6. Updates
If we add or remove significant cookies, we will update this policy and show the banner again to request fresh consent.
